Bio: My name is Lorena Acuna and I am the Vice President of Internal Affairs. I joined ALPFA because I was inspired by the positive impact the National ALPFA chapter had on other schools, and I knew that UW-Madison could greatly benefit from the same support and sense of community.

I witnessed ALPFA transform from a simple idea into a thriving community of growth and development, and I’m excited to see how it continues to evolve and inspire. I’m committed to supporting the Latino community on campus, which is why I’m involved in ALPFA, as well as PAVE, an organization dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual and domestic violence. I hope to be someone people feel comfortable turning to for support and guidance.
